When there are more of you
A restaurant that has been open since 1962 has seen a few things. Engagements, deals closed over dinner, birthdays that ran later than planned. We do not stage any of it – we make room for it.
Groups and celebrations
99 seats inside, up to 80 on the terrace. That works for twelve people at one table and for the whole room. For larger parties we agree the menu beforehand – not because it is complicated, but because a bistecca for forty needs notice.
Company dinners, Christmas parties, christenings, the day after a wedding: call us with the date, the number of guests and the occasion. We sort out the rest in one conversation.
And if the party is to take place at your home: we do not cook off-site ourselves – but we know someone. Home cooking with Giuseppe Caliandro.
Live music, dinner and dance
On some evenings there is music, and at some point people dance. The restaurant stays a restaurant – dinner is unhurried, the room only picks up afterwards.
Francucci Friday
From 12 noon, Friday starts with lunch, the first aperitivi and the anticipation of the weekend. We serve olives, good conversation and everything it takes to ease into the day. Those who stay have been enjoying the best Friday on Ku’damm for years.
The evening begins at a relaxed pace over dinner, before the DJs take over at 9 pm – joined by soft live saxophone, driving house and timeless Italian classics. With every round the conversations get livelier, the light more atmospheric and the beat more intense. Little by little, dinner turns into an elegant night of dancing.
Sought-after DJs from West Berlin provide the soundtrack for a special evening between dolce vita and Berlin nightlife: stylish, relaxed and full of energy – without losing the character that makes the restaurant what it is.
For the perfect transition from dinner to dance we serve tequila and limoncello.
